Toledo University Hospital (HUT) is a public center belonging to SESCAM, part of the Toledo University Hospital Complex, which provides healthcare coverage to a large population in the province.
It has a total of 853 beds, distributed between conventional hospitalization and special care units.
It has an extensive infrastructure: multiple buildings, a surgical block, 25 operating theatres, hospitalization services, emergency services, diagnostic and imaging services, a day hospital, outpatient clinics and specialized areas (medicine, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology-obstetrics, neonatology, intensive care, etc.).
Its size, resources and range of services make it a highly complex and renowned environment, ideal for clinical practice, perioperative training and intensive care, which can benefit master’s students.

National Hospital for Paraplegics
The National Hospital for Paraplegics (HNP) is a public center of national reference for the comprehensive treatment of spinal cord injuries. It was inaugurated in 1974.
Its main mission is to provide specialized care, comprehensive rehabilitation, research and teaching in the field of spinal cord injuries and their complications.
The HNP combines medical and surgical services, rehabilitation, social care and psychosocial support, with a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach.
